Tyne Daly
Ellen Tyne Daily is an American actress. She won six Emmy Awards for her television work, one Tony Award, and was inducted into the American Theater Hall of Fame in 2011. She is known for her role in television as detective Mary Beth Lacey in Cagney and Lacey (1982-88) and has won Emmys four times in a row. Received the Best Actress Award in the drama series. In 1989 she starred in the Gypsy Broadway Revival and in 1990 won the Tony Award for Best Actress in the Musical.
