Queen Elizabeth I

This monarch of England reigned from 1533 to 1603. In history, Queen Elizabeth I was popularly referred to as the “Virgin Queen” because she never wanted to tie the knot and say “I do”, much to the confusion of everyone. Up to date, it has never been discovered why the queen disliked the idea of matrimony so much. Even historians debate and never agreed to a definitive answer. To a degree, Queen Elizabeth I often says that she is married to her subjects, instead. Despite her stubbornness, many suitors have sought her out in her prime years, but she all turned down their proposals and sent them back along their way. Who says a queen needs a king to rule?

Sarah Silverman

For over 20 years, audiences credit Sarah Silverman as a source of fun and entertainment. The comedian played in films, television series, and even stand up specials over the course of her career, and it goes without saying that she’s been a constant public figure. Silverman’s relationships with Hollywood A-listers Jimmy Kimmel and Michael Sheen are also no secret. Despite this, the outspoken actress has not yet been married and is very vocal on social media about her plans against it. In a 2014 tweet, she stated that she thinks it’s barbaric to get the government involved in her love life through marrying. Seems like she’s already made up her mind!

Dana Delany

Dana Delany has been one of Hollywood’s most sought-after bachelorettes. With her major role in the television series Desperate Housewives and her iconic voicing of Lois Lane in various animated Superman projects, this actress is quite the catch! In 2007, she mentioned that it has not been her choice to remain unmarried. It simply hasn’t been a big deal for her. But now that she already had her time for fun, Delany claims to have more experience with people and relationships to figure out what she likes. Suitors, please line up before you start flooring each other!

Kimberly Stewart

Being the daughter of Rock n’ Roll Hall of Famer Rod Stewart and actress-model Alana Stewart, Kimberly Stewart has been a Hollywood sweetheart since childhood. Growing up in the limelight, Stewart followed in the footsteps of her celebrity parents and made a name for herself as an actress and fashion designer at a young age. Similarly, her engagement with Laguna Beach star Talan Torriero was done at the tender age of 19. In the end, the engagement was canceled and the young lovers broke up eventually. Quite a close call for Stewart, who was lucky enough to save herself from the trouble of calling a lawyer! Since then, she has remained unmarried but ended up having a child with actor Benicio del Toro.

Rebel Wilson

Other than being an actress, Rebel Wilson is also a writer and producer. No wonder this Hollywood jack-of-all-trades hasn’t had much time for investments in love! The Pitch Perfect and Bridesmaids celebrity has been a little quiet about her romances before. Despite that, it is public knowledge that she has dated and lived with Matt Lucas, a co-star from Bridesmaids, from 2012 to 2015. Shortly after that, the couple split up. However, at the start of 2019, Wilson met Jacob Busch, who is the heir to the Anheuser-Busch brewing company, through mutual friends. Since then, the couple have been spending their time cozying up to each other. It’s too soon to ring the wedding bells, though!

Diane Keaton

Diane Keaton has been a Hollywood force for over half of a century. This actress has made her way around show business and has also dated quite a number of fellow actors with big names in the industry. Though her romances involved Woody Allen, Al Pacino, and Warren Beatty, none of these ended up with her walking down the aisle. Keaton has previously expressed her sentiments on the unmarried life and the old maid myth, saying that she thinks it has not made her life any less. To a degree, this has not prevented her from starting a family of her own through adopting two children, Dexter and Duke, during her later years.

Lucy Liu

Although Lucy Liu has had several high-profile relationships in her several years in show business, she has never settled down. The Elementary and Charlie’s Angels actress has been romantically-involved with celebrities such as George Clooney and Will McCormack. Furthermore, she has been in a long-term relationship with businessman Noam Gottesman but unfortunately, the two never tied the knot. As of 2015, Liu has made the choice to become a single parent to her son through gestational surrogacy. She claims that it was the right decision due to her hectic schedule and that she is currently happy being the roofing to her own little family.

Sheryl Crow

During the span of her singing career, Sheryl Crow has been involved with several celebrities, the most notable of which are with guitar legend Eric Clapton and actor Owen Wilson. Crow almost failed to make it to this list since she was once engaged to cyclist Lance Armstrong in 2005. Although, the pair unexpectedly broke up the year after, long before they could say “I do”. The 9-time Grammy Award winner will seemingly not run out of gas anytime soon, as she continues to blaze the stage with her booked performances. Who knows when she’ll have the time to pause and settle down?

Oprah Winfrey

Popularly referred to as the “queen of all media”, Oprah Winfrey is an on-screen personality loved by almost everyone. The talk show host has always been very open about her personal life and relationships on air, and everyone knows of her long-term romance with partner Stedman Graham since 1986. In 1992, the lovers were engaged and were slated to be married but the ceremony never took place. Winfrey revealed decades later that they decided not to push through with a wedding because then, their interpretations of the roles of a husband and wife would have been traditional. She realized that she does not want to be married because she cannot have the life she created for herself. All turned out well in the end because the electricity in their 30-year romance continues to buzz lively to this day.

Cote de Pablo

Cote de Pablo has the makings of a blushing bride, but sad to say that she hasn’t walked down the aisle yet. The NCIS actress was in a relationship with fellow actor Diego Serrano for 15 years but they have never decided to marry. In the end, things between the pair did not work out as they separated in 2015. It was never confirmed what caused the split or how de Pablo feels about marriage. Since then, the Los Angeles-based celebrity has not yet sparked another romance. Many fans of NCIS have been matching up de Pablo with her co-star Michael Weatherly, which they credit to their great on-screen chemistry. Sad to say that Weatherly already got hitched, but the two remain close friends.
