Dominating the 1960s, American singer-songwriter Patti LaBelle is looking to own the 2020s even in her 70s. Born on May 24, 1944, Labelle would go and give the world her signature style in singing—R&B Soul. With hit classics such as On My Own, Stir It Up, and Gotta Go Solo, Labelle has continually proven how amazing she is as a singer. The singer’s passion for the art traced back as early as Labelle’s time at ten years old when she began singing.

Starting as part of the church choir at her Baptist church and then moving to win various singing competitions, Labelle would make a name for herself as early as 16 years old. Fame never left here since then because it was all smooth sailing from there for the young singer. With over 76 years of experience, age doesn’t seem to slow down this queen.
